FAQs
- How does the system determine a student’s homeroom? Minga pulls data from your student information system (SIS) and uses predefined user lists to accurately create each homeroom list. The list owner is set as the teacher when creating a homeroom.
Alternatively, administrators can also manually create user lists by visiting “User Lists” in “People” module and set them as homerooms.
- What happens if a student isn’t auto‑registered? If a student fails to register automatically, the system flags that student for review in auto-register summary. Common reasons might include no homeroom attached, multiple homerooms attached or no activity with homeroom teacher found.
- Does the Hall Pass History Report distinguish between check in ended and manually ended passes?Yes, the report indicates whether a pass was ended by FlexTime, Check In, manually or the system automatically closed it.
- What is the method of delivery for the scheduled reports? You can choose SFTP, email or both when setting up a scheduled report.
