Awarding Points to Teams or Individuals

Award your users with Points for participating and engaging in activities or events happening at your school.

Permission Level: Owner | Manager | Group Owner

Awarding Points for Engagement

Points can be awarded to students in several ways including event check-ins, responding to Polls and Challenges in the home feed, and praise for good behavior.

You can choose to award points ranging from 0, 1, 5, 10 or 20 when you create/edit the different activities.

🏆 Best Practices:

Align your rewards with school policies to ensure they reflect school-wide values and expectations. Common examples include "Leadership," "Acts of Kindness," and "Community Care" for praise rewards.
We suggest 1 point for each praise guidance to encourage positive conduct and make it easier for teachers and staff to reward students.

This gives all students the same chance at earning points, rather than it being dependant on the inclination of their individual teacher to award points.

Give teachers and staff the ability to award and redeem points

Points can be manually awarded and redeemed by Owners and Managers by default.

To give Teachers and Staff permission to award and redeem points:

Navigate to Points > click the Settings tab
Toggle on Allow Teachers to manage points and/or Allow Staff to manage points
Toggle on Allow Teachers to redeem points and/or Allow Staff to redeem points

Reward points to an individual OR team

Go to My Tools
Click the Points button
Select Manage Points
Click Add Points under Individuals OR Teams
Select the individual(s) by searching by name or filtering by Group, Grade or Role
Select the:
- number of Points to be awarded
- Reason
- Category for the points.

Click Add to submit.

🌟 An individual's points will count towards all Teams they are a part of.

Redeem Points

Go to My Tools
Click the Points button
Select Redeem
Search and select the student you want to redeem
Click Redeem
Add items to the cart
Click Checkout
