      Redeeming & Managing Points

      Points earned within Minga can be redeemed for rewards to provide incentives for participation, engagement, and praise behaviors.

      Permission Level: Owner | Manager | Teacher | Staff

      Once a student has accumulated enough points to earn a Reward, you can go to your My Tools page to redeem the points.

      Step by Step:

      1. Login to Minga from your computer app.minga.io
      2. Go to My Tools
      3. Click on Redeem Points:
        1. For teachers:
        2. For Admins:
      4. Search for the student by name or ID or by filtering by Group, Grade or Role and select them. 
      5. Click Redeem

      6. Choose item from the Add To Cart dropdown menu
      7. Click Checkout

      💡 If the student doesn't have enough Points for the Reward a warning that says "You don't have enough points!" and appear and you must make another selection.

      Archiving (removing) a reward entry if assigned in error 

      If you are an Owner, Manager, or Points Manager you are able to update and remove points and rewards. 

      Step by Step:

      1. Go to Points
      2. Go to Reports Tab
      3. Select Redemption History report 
      4. Find the student, select them, and click Archive as needed.
