      Minga Welcome Email Templates - Teacher Edition

      Introducing Minga to staff, administrators, and teachers at your school in a proactive way so they understand the value, are prepared for the rollout process, and can answer simple questions from students is crucial to your schools success.
       
      To help, we've created an introductory guide and additional content to share and explain the benefits of this platform to teachers and administrators here. 
       
      Below are sample staff introduction email templates for the different bundles. Please feel free to use and edit these as you wish.
       

      💡 Best practice is to send this from one of your Administrators or Teacher Minga champions so they can answer any questions that may come up.

      To all our staff at {School Name},

      We're excited to introduce Minga, a new platform designed to make your daily tasks easier and enhance our school community. Minga focuses on improving school management and student engagement, providing tools that simplify your work.

      Here’s how Minga can make your life easier:

      • Manage students digital IDs {and hall passes - add if you have this module}, reducing the need for physical passes and improving security.

      • Share updates and announcements quickly with students and staff, keeping everyone informed.

      • Boost student involvement and school spirit with tools for organizing and participating in activities and events.

      • Ensuring safety and privacy with security features to prevent student misuse.

      Minga is here to help you focus on what you do best—teaching and supporting our students.

      They host regular live training sessions to get you started and will answer any questions you might have. Within the app, they also have a getting started checklist you can follow to quickly onboard, along with in-app guides to help you along the way.

      You also have access to the Minga help center for any additional support.

      Get started using Minga:

      You can access Minga on your phone, desktop, Chromebook or any other device.

      1. Download the Minga App or go to app.minga.io

      2. Sign in with Google or Microsoft (use your <school domain> email address)

      3. Click the Help Centre to access your Getting Started Checklist and start familiarizing yourself with the platform.

       

      We encourage you to log in and start exploring Minga to make your work easier and more efficient. We'll also be hosting a training session for all staff soon but in the meantime, we encourage you to sign up and attend a Minga Live Training Session to get familiar with the app.

       

      You will also receive an email inviting you to join our private school in Minga shortly.

      We're excited to tell you about the launch of our new Digital Student ID tool called Minga! It will be available in a few days, but you can download the Minga app to check it out before our official launch (on..{optional add-in launch date})!

       

      Here’s how your new digital ID card will make your life easier: 

      • Use your ID anytime with the Minga App on your phone, or from any browser at app.minga.io and never lose your card again

      • No printing at registration and no bulky scanners slowing you down

      • Use digital IDs to quickly check students and guests into school events and activities easily.

      • Instantly change and update stickers and badges on your ID for different activities.

      • Antifraud and safety features help keep things safe on campus

      • ID authentication ready before registration day
